With the modern world changing its dimensions every minute, businesses around the globe have essentially helped create a resurgence and renewed enthusiasm for vocational education and training.
And following its diverse nature, it’s a whole different world from the boring and dull academics, being an incredibly diverse and detailed topic, involving research from a wide variety of sources and references to occupational programs, training, and career paths.
The people today have become more of a bookworm and have completely ignored the need of practice and practical knowledge in once live. In today’s detailed world there are millions of highly educated people who have obtained a valuable education from books and course but what they really lack is the need to interact with the world in the most effective and efficient way.
And as to adapt to the changing ambience, more vocational schools, colleges, and universities begin to adopt the current scenario and introducing a current and
stable platform to fulfill the needs of vocational courses. This not only enables the students in a more job centered position and also more productive, faster, and involving the benefits of the firm and the source. And in the era of multitasking taking its toll, Vocational courses are the current need of hour.
Educators will need to adopt more inclusive practices in education—practices designed to enable a child for its interpersonal and intrapersonal skills development from the very basic level. And in the country’s most prestigious Delhi university the tide has turned upside down in the past few years.
The main aim for the introduction of courses being to develop proficiency in a particular group of techniques or in a certain technical field.
For admission in vocational courses in Delhi University a candidates must have done 10+2 from a recognized board and No entrance exam is conducted for the admission in vocational courses at Delhi University. And a few most prestigious courses being as follows –
B.A(VS) Tourism management-The main aim of the following course is that prepares people with the interest,
experience, and training for management positions in the food, accommodations, and tourism industry.
B.A (VS)Office management and secretarial practice-With basically being industrial centered it prepares the people who want to opt for want to go for secretarial services and managing circumstances of the fields. B.A (VS) Small and medium enterprises-It basically trains the students for entrepreneurial skills inculcation in one and other.
B.A (VS) Material management -The main aim of the course is to educate Students for pursuing Careers in purchasing, supplying, and storage
B.A (VS) human resource management-This course provides an interiors view of the corporate world and industrial sector.
These courses have been developed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as per the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) formulated by the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship, emphasizing skill-based education, in consultation with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) So the need of the current hour is recognizing and
developing these intelligences and developing basic verbal and employment literacy for all students.
