Kartavya, the Social Service Forum of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, is back with another edition of Vivanté, the Philanthropy fest, scheduled to be held in the college campus on March 26 and 27. With the theme “Not All Heroes Wear Capes”, Team Kartavya aims to change the perception of social service. With a variety of events lined up in the frame of two days, it is sure to be an exhilarating affair with a lot in store for everyone. The event will be a day of bliss for the book lovers as Kartavya, in association with Goonj, presents the ‘Read for a cause’ book stall where used books will be sold at nominal prices and the proceeds will be donated for a social cause. Also, all the quizzing fanatics are guaranteed a treat as The CSR Quiz, combining business and social service, is lined up to test their skills.

The second day would witness a first-of-its-kind Social Internship Fair being  organised in the college, wherein different NGOs and social organisations would be displaying their work and also accepting applications for their internships and volunteer programmes. Renowned NGOs like Pravah and Bhumi will be a part of the fair. A blood donation camp in association with the Rotary Club will be organised on the second day along with ‘Pledge an Organ’- the Organ Donation Awareness and Plegde campaign.

The Wish Tree Campaign, which was a hit amongst the students and the faculty members alike the last time it was organised, will be the highlight of the fest. It would offer an opportunity for others to fulfill simples wishes of underprivileged children and bring a smile less often seen on their faces.

With this and a lot more, Vivanté is definitelty going to be an event to look forward to, in the CBS Calendar.
