Who would deny that college days are the liveliest parts of the collage of our life? Not a single moment lacks fun. And when it comes to the college fest, zeal and zest mount an all new level. So are the Rajdhanians pleasantly thunderstruck every year in their fest—THUNDERSTRUCK. Fests are, undoubtedly, all about fun, frolic, masti, eating, dancing, chatting, meeting new people from other colleges and participating. But the star performances are always the icing on the cake. The last year’s Thunderstruck (Thunderstruck-2014) was bejeweled by the popular star singer Falak Shabir who added the wow-factor to the event. The nukkad-naataks of the college are also its USP.
A student of the college rates the event of 2014 as 7.5 on a scale of 10 due to lack of the opportunities for the newbies but seems all the more satiated with the heat of the fest and ecstatic with the very mention of last year’s star night with Shabir.
In fact, Rajdhani College has many societies that are active throughout the year with their own culturally talented members. When all these composite groups and flairs come together for Thunderstruck, the atmosphere is mesmerizing.
Since the fest of 2015 is not too far now, one could sense the exhilaration in the air for sure. Soon the atmosphere will warm up with anticipations for the coming fest and the undulations to present a shining shindig. Not to mention that the freshers are super-excited this time and expect an exuberant event. They not only are going to become good spectators but are also very enthusiastic about participating and playing their roles, however small, in the organizing part of the fest too.
One of them expects a fashion show and another one, a ball dance to be organized during the fest. Besides, a musical night with a star is something almost everyone is looking forward to. Some students also want to see a good sync in the organizing committee that could eliminate any awkward and unwanted situations.
So, let’s look ahead as cultural societies make themselves well-prepared and hope that the college puts up a great show.
