REVERIE 2K15: Labyrinth Of Life

Reverie 2k15, the annual fest of Gargi College promised to soak its people in the labyrinth of life. It certainly proved to be bigger and better this time. With a plethora of events in its 3 day long festival, the headliner was the star night with Anushka Manchanda setting the stage on fire! Oh what a performer and what an unbeatable energy! The rocking performance with her hits one after another grooved and shaked a thousands present in the college’s sports field. Her popular song “dance basanti” drew huge cheers from the crowd.

Spreading for three days, reverie 2k15 had something for everyone. The highlight for day 2 was the “surprise element” comprising of stand up comedians Kanan Gill and his partner Kenny Sebastian. Girls were seen like total bonkers to get through the show. But definetly, it was a show worth watching. Both of them enthused the entire audience so effortlessly, tickling our laughing bones to the max!

The main attractions of day 1 was the famous “choreo night” where the dance societies of various colleges came to compete their dancing skills in all the colors of the world. The performances were totally mesmerizing.

Apart from these main events, there were a number of other competitions and events happening around each corner of the college like the trendy Beg Borrow Steal, the Bollywood Quiz, Doodling, English and Hindi creative writing and many others.

Moving on, to savor one’s taste and beat the hunger there were a number of stalls planted from everywhere to everywhere. From junks to cupcakes, south Indian to mughlai, Chinese to aloo tikki, desi mix to shakes and the all time Karim’s for the non veggies amongst others.

Besides, for the girls to pamper themselves, there were bags, beauty products, accessories, scarves, jackets, tattoos, nail art and also a peep into the future with a tarot card reader!

The college was flooded with people dressed to their best and capturing innumerable selfies everywhere. On the one hand the well lit decorations were stealing away our hearts, and on the other the adventurous Columbus ride stood tall to make us fly high in the air!
