Frontiers of Computational Research
A Two-Day National Seminar
Date: March 30-31, 2015
Venue: Indraprastha College for Women
31, Shamnath Marg
In an Indian perspective, the advances in technology and computational research must be inherent in its quest for long term nation development. However, in reality we have been dependent on foreign research and development especially in the areas of technology and computation. Instead to being a mere adopter, India needs to develop state-of-the-art research centers for most of the technological and computational fields of investigation and research, and create a motivation among its young brains to pursue research and development in these areas as early as possible.
In this regard and as a small step towards this realization, we at the Department of Computer Science, Indraprastha College for Women (University of Delhi), New Delhi-54 aim to conduct a
national seminar addressing the Frontiers of Computational Research. The target audience being addressed is the young undergraduate computer science students of University of Delhi. We wish to unite educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address challenges in the field of computer science. This event meets the needs of undergraduate computer science students, professionals who are solving real problems and makes possible connections to current research and emerging trends in computational research.
This is going to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, career development and professional networking. We wish to invite abstract of recent and quality published work on the above said core areas of computational research from researchers and academicians.
Organised by: Department of Computer Science, Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi.
Last date for submission of abstract has been extended up to 21st January 2015.
