Protagonist patriarch M. Narendar Modi (#NAMO): the son of Gujarat, the next heir to the 7 Race Course Road will be swearing in as the Prime Minister of India. With the results of the Lok Sabha 2014 out on 16th May 2014, the country witnessed a clean sweep by the BJP/NDA. After so many years a party like BJP has won the hearts of 121 crore Indians with its protagonist to win the election this time. The laudable efforts of the campaign and the Gujarat model were quite effectively exaggerated on the political front to depict the significance of need to change the systematic functioning of our govt.
On the other front though, Mr. Gandhi did what he could to at least gain some support from his Amethi lovers but that was not enough to gain the number of 272 and make it to the parliament. BJP meanwhile, bagged around 334 seats and Narendar Modi has marked his seat in the PMO for sure, while Mr Arvind Kejriwal and his party could only grab only a handful of seats in the Punjab region. But will this new government be able to satisfy each and every need that the citizens of India have longed for or will these promises remain unfulfilled?
The demands of Indian citizens include a corruption free nation, food security, freedom from unemployment, dreams of becoming a developed nation and so on. And while that may be too much to ask for in a span of 5 years but a lot of things can be achieved. Now he is the one who represents India on the international front, and is the face of our nation. The citizens hope he does not mark a dramatic exit from the loksabha, and works with full zest, zeal and honesty to work for the citizens!
