It is in the college college that we learn new things, meet new people, think more vividly and rationally and most important that we become focused and we start believeing we have to achieve something great in life. College life bring with it a lot of freedom and with freedom comes a great sense of responsibility, which everyone should understand and fulfill. These last years of being a student are significant and you will remember these years for the rest of your life.
The college societies are an essential part of college life. They provide students with great learning experience accompanied with a lot of fun. Usually the Music, Dance, Drama, and Debate societies hold auditions in the beginning of the session and that too only once a year, so one should make sure when these auditions are going to take place. Other societies generally give a time and place for you to sign up. One of the most enjoyable things of college time is “food”. There are various amazing places in and near DU. For instance, Majnu ka Tilla is famous for its steaming hot momos. Chache di hatti is worth visiting for its delicious chole bhature. Some the other good places are Tom Uncle’s Maggie point, Paranthe Wali Gali and many more.
One of the enjoyable times of college life is the college festival time. Every college has its own college fest along with numerous department fests.  It is a great time as you get to see famous celebrities, take part in various competitions and play various games.
Amidst all the fun, masti, food and gupshup with friends, do not forget to concentrate on your studies, the very main purpose for being in DU. You need not be a bookworm as studying for moderate time is sufficient. So enjoy the college life and try to make best out of it. All the best!!
