Delhi University Event Platter North Campus St. Stephen's College

The ‘social service league’ of St. Stephens College is organising a seminar on “Human rights and AFSPA” in association with Amnesty International, winner of Nobel Peace Prize of the year 1977. The seminar is going to hold a panel talk on the study of Manipur experience regarding the harassment of Human rights. The talk would start from 4 pm onwards on 18th of February in the seminar hall. The discussion will be moderated by journalist, ‘Kishalay  Bhattacharjee’. The seminar is sponsored by the organisation itself.


The panel would include:

1. Mrs Neena Ningombam, Secretary of Extra judicial Execution Victims Families’ Association Manipur.

2. Mr Babloo Loitongbam, Director of Human Rights Alert, Manipur.

3. Mr G. Ananthapadmanabhan, Chief Executive of Amnesty International India.

4. Mr Nilendra Kumar, Former Judge Advocate General of Indian Army, presently Director of Amity Law School at Amity University, Noida.

Students of all colleges of Delhi University as well as other people, interested are invited to the event and experiences, questions , opinions and thoughts regarding the same  would be much welcomed and appreciated in the event.

Time: 4:00 pm onwards, Tuesday 18th of February.

Venue: Seminar hall, St. Stephens college.
